Using the incredibly simple TMS application conveniently inside of Facebook means you can browse tutors' profiles before you book them to get an idea of their teaching style as well as to view reviews and ratings from prior students they've tutored.
What are the benefits for students?
The benefits that Tutor Matching Service provides for students are plentiful. Students can browse tutors by subject area, courses they teach or by the tutor's name. Tutor profiles contain information about the tutor, sample videos to allow students to get to know their tutor before scheduling an appointment, detailed calendars informing students of their availability and bookings, and reviews posted by other students who have already booked the tutor.
Perhaps the greatest benefit is the Tutor Matching Service Guarantee. All tutors enrolled in the service are required to offer a 100% guarantee on their services so that there is no risk to the student. Since our Tutor Matching Service collects all of the tutoring costs via credit card and then pays the tutors on a bi-weekly basis, we will simply write a check for the refunded amount back to the student instead of paying the tutor. How does the application work for students?
Once you've added the application through your Facebook account, you can simply type 'Tutor Matching Service' in the Facebook search bar to get to the application. Browsing through the tutors is as easy as clicking on the large, red, rectangular button that says "Find a Tutor NOW." From there you can view their profiles, videos, ratings and reviews. Select the tutor with whom you wish to schedule a session, book a session and you're ready to go.
